It is rare that I am left speechless over anything I see on television, but after watching the season finale of Saving Grace, I couldn't even speak or move for about 10 minutes. Awesome is a word that seems weak in describing this episode. It was for me beyond awesome and amazing.

Earl watching Grace to try and put the pieces of that puzzle together--the pieces being the clues and hints that Earl had been leaving her since day one about what had happened to Grace when she was 9 years old. Did you see the look on Earl's face as he was watching her? He was crying because he knew that she would soon piece the puzzle together.

Sexual abuse is a nightmare, a hideous act carried out by monsters and is pure evil in every sense of the word. But to have suffered sexual abuse at the hands of a priest, a man of God, is just deplorable. These monsters hide behind God to carry on their acts of abuse and they all should burn in hell for even thinking about it as should anyone who sexually abuses a child. No trial, no jail, just shoot them right on the spot. Better yet, castrate them! They all should be castrated and without any anesthesia.

I cried last night for all the pain the Grace has been carrying around inside of her and for what happened to her. The last scene with her in the priest's bedroom holding a gun to his head was probably one of the most riveting moments I have ever seen on television. I was rooting for her to pull the trigger, but the screen went blank and up came the credits. Like I said, I just sat there, too numb to even speak or move.

If anyone deserves an Emmy or Golden Globe, it is Holly Hunter and Saving Grace needs to recognized for the outstanding series that it is.
