Blog EntryAmerican Idol--Top 3May 16, '07 10:18 AM
for everyone

I haven't had the chance to really update this site like I want to, but I have still be watching American Idol every week.

My favorite Lakeisha Jones was voted off last week and that was  shame.  I wish her all the best.

What I love about this series is that we are seeing the best of the youth in this country giving it their all.

The top three are down to Melinda Doolittle, Jordin Sparks and Bale Lewis and I got to say that this is one heck of a tough battle.  All three of these young people deserve to be voted American Idol.  My favorite is Melinda Doolittle and Jordin Sparks.  Either of these two will be a great winner.  But I wish all three of them the best of luck.  They deserve only the best.

Here is a small article from People magazine:

Blog EntryAmerican Idol--The Top 11 Perform 3/20/07Mar 22, '07 8:48 AM
for everyone

On Tuesday evening, the top 11 performed to the theme of the "British Pop Invasion".

Guest mentors were Peter Noone and Lulu.  Both gave sound advise to the contestants, but his was a tough theme week.  These kids were not even born yet when the British Pop Invasion happened, yet most of them pulled it off extremely well.

These were my favorite performances:

Melinda Doolittle

Lakesiha Jones

Jordin Sparks

Chris Richardson

Blake Lewis

Melinda one again belted it right out of the ballpark leaving me just breathless and this woman's talent.  She was by far the best of the evening.

I once again loved Lakesiha's performance although it wasn't her best.  She is still right up there for me.

Little Jordin Sparks had me break out in goosebumps.  She has got one fantastic voice.

Chris and Blake were just awesome, and I loved their choice of songs.

Now for Sanjaya, he's a mess.  A complete and utter mess.  For the love of God people, please do NOT vote for him any longer.  It is too much agony watching him perform.  This contest should be based on a person's ability to sing and sing well as well as perform well and keep the audience captivated.  This whole mess with Sanjaya is a joke and one that I don't think is even funny any longer.

I also think that the producers should limit one vote per phone line.  This will insure a more honest vote.
